Vince Perez MD · Spiritual Director & Contemplative Companion

A quiet, faithful place to listen for the Spirit already moving in your life.

I offer virtual spiritual direction and contemplative accompaniment for adults of all ages, especially those navigating significant life transitions, longing to deepen prayer, or seeking a steady contemplative companion.

My background includes Spiritual Direction and Accompaniment, Stillpoint Certificated, along with more than 40 years as a board certified psychiatrist and addictionist, educated at Stanford and UCLA. This practice is trauma-informed and deeply attentive, while remaining distinct from clinical diagnosis, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.

Approach

The Spirit is the true Director.

Spiritual direction is, at its heart, a vigil kept together, a quiet, faithful attending to the small, persistent flame of the Spirit at work within you, even when the room has grown dark.

My role is to facilitate our listening together for the nudges and messages of Spirit already alive in your experience. Sessions unfold with gentleness, spaciousness, contemplative prayerfulness, and respect for your own pace and story.
